Here are maps of the Forest as presented in the collection of Winnie the Pooh books.

An easy way to understand the following map is to place yourself where Christopher Robin is standing in the two maps above: Outside his house, looking out across the forest towards Pooh’s house. To your right is the bee tree, to your left is Eyore’s Boggy Place. Looking ahead of you, you see:

This map shows the Forest as it was after the events of The House at Pooh Corner. Pooh and Piglet now share a home, and Owl has moved from his tree in the Hundred Acre Wood to Piglet’s old digs.

Note that some authors and/or artists are not always clear on the distinction between the “Forest” and the “Hundred Acre Wood.” As presented in the A.A. Milne books, the Hundred Acre Wood is but a small section of the Forest, not the complete Forest.

Rabbit, Owl, Lottie, and Rabbit’s friends and relations are indigenous to the Forest.
